Back in 2008, Netanyahu said Israel is 'benefiting from attack' as it 'swung American public opinion.'
The Israeli newspaper Ma'ariv on Wednesday reported that Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu told an audience at Bar Ilan university that the September 11, 2001 terror attacks had been beneficial for Israel.
"We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq," Ma'ariv quoted the former prime minister as saying. He reportedly added that these events "swung American public opinion in our favor."

Reportedly, Netanyahu was at a conference at Bar-Ilan University when he made the comment. At the time, he was speaking about the division of Jerusalem as it relates to a possible peace deal with the Palestinians.
In my humble opinion, Benjamin Netanyahu may just be the new Middle-East Madman,' seeing how his former counterpart in Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is no longer in power. He is a threat to world peace.
