On September 13. 2014 Hannah Graham, a sophomore at the University of Virginia went missing. The suspect was captured on video leaving a bar with Graham. The day after the incident, the suspect went to a police station in the area and asked to speak to a lawyer. He sped off and was not able to be located until his capture in Texas. No doubt this was just a coincidence; I am sure he had a vacation scheduled in Texas that he wanted to attend. More information on the suspect below the fold.
Online court records show Matthew was convicted of trespassing in 2010 but provide no details about the incident. Details also were unavailable for two other charges of assault and attempted grand larceny relating to a 2009 incident that were not prosecuted. Matthew also has several traffic infractions, records show.

As indicated above, it looks like Mr. Matthew is an outstanding citizen /snark. It boggles my mind how someone with this type of rap sheet would be allowed to work in a university near students.
Police have not indicated how he was captured in Texas, but police have disclosed that a search warrant was issued for the suspect's information and crucial information was found. The police have already charged Matthew with felony abduction with intent to defile. I have no reason to believe that the victim would voluntarily go anywhere with this monster and I am afraid, given the time that has elapsed, that the victim is dead.
