Montana has a Democrat named Mike Wheat running for Re-election to the Montana Supreme Court against a corporate lobbyist from Texas. He made an ad called "Pocket Man" which made me think of the great Elton John hit Rocketman, so I decided to rewrite the lyrics called "I am a Republican." So here it is.
I Am A Republican.
I packed my bags last night, pre-pass.
Zero hour nine a.m.
I'm gonna be richer than a king by then.
I love their money so much, I kiss their ass.
It's so lonely out in space,
on a plane that goes so fast.
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time
for those low workers way down there will find
that I am not the man they think I am, you know
Oh no, no, no, I am a Republican
Republican, Giving all to the rich,
while I steal from the working poor.
America ain't no place to raise your kids, thanks to me
as a matter of fact its cold as hell.
And the working poor don't deserve clean water and air, anyways
And all that science I don't understand,
And its my job to deny it five days a week
(Insert Name Here) is a Republican, Republican
And I think it's gonna be a long, long time
Does that make any sense. It would be awesome to see the DNC to do an ad in all 50 states educating the public on exactly what the republican party stands for.
