Hi.
Perhaps the title of this diary brought you here because it implies a political statement about someone angry with someone.
Maybe you came here for a metaphorical exploration of people leaving their past behind with a vengeance.
You may even have wondered why people allow doors to close noisily with gross disregard for those around them.
More below the door:
What does a door do?
It separates. Yet, so does a wall. A door gives access. A door is an invitation. A door beckons persons to come from one space to another. Often doors are clumsy. They usually open only one way, so the person on the other side must wait before they can transfer to the other space. When doors do open both ways they can be dangerous, as people on one side have no idea when those on the other intend to cross over. Those doors can't usually be slammed though so they are irrelevant to this discussion.
Why do people slam doors? Is it merely anger? I know people who are not angry who slam doors with reckless disregard. Is it egotism? Look at me, I am so important that I can slam doors? Is it a violence over inanimate space, a finger to the void?
In any case it is disruptive. Everyone can hear it. Your neighbors know. It damages hinges and door frames. It makes people afraid.
Aggression, even when unintentional, brings fear.
Stop it.
Now that I am done with my exposition feel free to fill up the void with metaphorical space, or fill up the metaphorical space with The Void.
Or candy.
Good Night.
