If you don't vote, or make those calls, or speak with undecided friends and family,
this

might (heaven forfend!) replace this.

That's what we are up against. Please vote. Please encourage others to vote.
We all know it matters. More below the squiggle.
Oh how our votes matter!
1) Education - let's keep it public, not privatized.
2) Education - let's make post-high school education affordable for all.
3) Education - let's keep America the premier source of college education in the world.
4) Healthcare - let's strengthen the ACA and work towards single payer.
5) Healthcare - Medicare for all.
6) Healthcare - let's fund the research needed for cancer and other cures.
7) Economy - it's still the economy, and we aren't stupid but we are stuck in part for lack of federal jobs spending. Plus the minimum wage will never rise if Republicans have their say.
8) Economy - it's still the economy for small businesses, who have been frozen out of the credit market because banks are so slow to loan to them.
9) War - bloody war. We need a generation of peace, not ongoing warfare that profits the few and imperils the rest of us in a war-weary world.
10) Policing - we have seen the vision the Right has of civil control and we don't like it.
11) Climate change - it's here. It's real. There is no denying it, and the next twenty reasons could be all about why electing progressive Democrats is so important if we want air we can breathe, water we can drink, and food that is safe to eat.
On any issue, a few moments thought makes it very obvious that our vote is the key to our future. Not voting is another vote for those who want to run our society in their own interests, not for the general welfare.
Please vote and be absolutely shameless in encouraging others to vote. It is so easy to make MoveOn's calls for candidates. There is still time to help urge a few undecideds to get to the polls tomorrow.
Your conscience will thank you, and we might just pull a few electoral rabbits out of the hat with those extra calls.
