Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist visits with people waiting to early vote in North Miami, November 2, 2014.
Tally so far: Lots of races too close to call. But for now:
GOP pickups WV-Sen, AR-Sen
DEM pickups PA-Gov
5:26 PM PT: Oof. Working back from exit polls show Democrat Mike Michaud leading 45.71 to 44.70. So essentially tied. But what if the independent candidate had not been in the race? Then Michaud would be winning easily 50-44. That one hurts, and it'll hurt even more if incumbent Republican Gov. Paul LePage survives.
5:27 PM PT: In North Carolina, Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan may finish with a wider spread than Sen. Mark Warner in Virginia. She's well ahead of all her benchmarks and they're putting up serious totals now. Wake at 63, she needs 57. Mecklenburg at 66, she needs 61. Forsyth at 60, she needs 55. Buncombe at 61, she needs 57. Cumberland at 65, she needs 61.
5:28 PM PT:
With a whopping 4 precincts out of 3,479 reporting, Kris Kobach trails Dem Jean Schodorf in ks secretary of state's race.

Dare we dream?
5:31 PM PT: CNN calls it quickly and early for Tom Cotton in AR-Sen. That makes it R+2 in the Senate.
5:38 PM PT: Good news, bad news:
With 73 precincts in Oakland COunty reporting, Gov. Snyder leads Mark Schauer, 56.6% to 41.5%, Gary Peters leads in Senate race, 55%-41.2%

5:41 PM PT: ABC News just called NH-Sen for Jean Shaheen. Maybe Scott Brown can try Maine?
5:50 PM PT (Barbara Morrill): New thread here.
