I was on my way home from work tonight when I saw the demonstration against the refusal of the grand jury in St. Louis to indict Darren Wilson for killing Michael Brown. I took these photos with my phone, and the quality is poor, but I think you can get an idea of how one college town in Massachusetts reacted.
Pictures below the Kos 0.5 Orange Kaiju.
The beginning of the procession. Probably about 500-700 people marching and chanting. Some were young, some old, most white. No violence, and the police were there to direct traffic.
A bit later in the procession. The blazing lights in the background are Thorne's, a local shopping center.
Maybe there's still hope for this country.
Maybe.
