The Montana Auto Museum is housed in the Old Montana Prison in Deer Lodge, Montana. The museum displays more than 150 automobiles. In addition, there are some displays of old automobile advertising. Some of these ads and pictures are shown below.
The Harrison, shown above, was made by the Harrison Wagon Company of Grand Rapids from 1905-1906. In 1907, it became the Harrison Motor Car Company.
The Oakland, shown above, was manufactured from 1907 to 1909 in Pontiac Michigan by the Oakland Motor Car Company. In 1909, it became the Oakland Division of General Motors
The Black Motor Company of Chicago manufactured the Black Automobile (shown above) from about 1906 to 1911.
The Northern, shown above, was manufactured in Detroit by Northern Manufacturing Company.
The American Napier, shown above, was sold from 1904 until 1912. The cars were assemble under license from the British parent company in Boston.
The Detroit Automobile Company was founded in Detroit and was the first automobile manufacturing company in the city.
The Overland began production in 1903 and were produced until 1926.
The Aerocar was manufactured from 1906 to 1908 in Detroit. The Adams-Farwell was built by the Adams Company in Dubuque, Iowa, from 1905 to 1912.
De Dietrich was a French automobile.
The Kissel Motor Car Company began manufacturing automobiles in Hartford, Wisconsin in 1906. They made high-quality automobiles, hearses, fire trucks, and taxicabs.
