Okay when a person turns 65, it's easy to get depressed. Especially those of us who wear
adult diapers. It gets tough to explain diapers when you're trying to convince your lady
you don't need warm milk and be burped.
Parkinson's does depress you once in awhile. It gets easier when you realize your above ground and not below it.
Smart people are finding people over 80 can be happy. We are in a room full of shxt,
I mean Republican's. We are looking for Democrats, not ponies.
You learn to really appreciate small things and beauty. You look for smiles not frowns.
Maybe you gain an understanding of who you are and who your not.It is easy to have a sense of humor when you realize what you have gone threw and are still here.
You accept the negative things that have happened and you can't change history.
Maybe wisdom is nothing more than realizing everything that could happen to you
probably already has.You learn to listen to another person. Few have that skill.
Anxiety is a terrible emotion. Get rid of it. Do your best and move on. Every heartbeat
is to be treasured. When your young, you think you will always be. You have all the
time in the world. Old people are old and you are forever young.
One day you wake up and suddenly are 65. What happened? You don't remember
getting old; right?
Grab your moment now, listen to your heart, your "inner voice", do what you want.
The hell with filing other peoples dreams: fill yours. I'm serious when I tell you to follow
your heart and not a job you hate.
I have failed a thousand times, I stood up each time. You finally learn not to care
what others think. Practice kindness, smile at people, hugs become important as you
grow older.
If progressive folks are hoping to live in a better world; we have to love life now.
I still have a lady, I still see beauty in the rain and mist, clouds, and faith that things
will get better.
Now, go fight the fight and I'll look for a dry diaper.
