A truly magnificent photo of the NYC protest - the photo is from the US Uncut Facebook page. Here is the caption:
Right now, tens of thousands of people are marching through New York City to demand an end to racist police violence. Share to support them!

Nationwide marches and gatherings continue throughout the country, in protest of police racial profiling and brutally. This recent protest ignited after no criminal charges were filed against the New York police officers responsible for choking
Eric Garner to death last summer. Garner, an unarmed black man, was being arrested for selling untaxed cigarettes on the streets of New York City. After he was approached by the officers, he was attacked, then put into a chokehold. Garner cried out,
'I can't breathe' 11 times before dying. His murder was captured on video, and for many of us who have seen it, it will haunt us for the rest of our lives. We heard your cries, Eric Garner, and we are and will seek justice.

To Eric Garner, Mike Brown, John Crawford, and all those who were murdered due to a corrupt, racist, and unjust law enforcement system, you did not die in vain. This fight is for you. Rest in peace.
