TRESPASS as MALICIOUS HARASSMENT – Government Bullies of Pocatello.
Harassment? Ever been threatened by bullies? You know, those big kids at the corner after school waiting to intimidate you because they don't like your hair style, or the color of your skin, or your name, or that you're the brainy nerd in the class. What if, when they grow up they become corrupt politicians. What are they like? How does that saying go? ...Oh Yeah, Money and Power Corrupts. When we have corruption in government, then we get bullies in office. We call them government bullies. City council member, Steve Brown, had attempted that one during 'Anti-bully' week last year. Don't like something or somebody, just trespass them and call in your private bullies, the Pocatello Police, or the Bannock county Sheriff deputies to ruff them up. Or maybe bring in the SWAP team and have them shot, right Brian Blad!
But let me state clearly in this time of distant isolated events of Police brutality, that Not all Pocatello Police are bullies, in fact, most I would venture are not ---and I of all people should know. Most are nice pleasant people trained to perform their job as 'Protectors of the People' to uphold the law.
Sure, we have all seen pictures of corrupt corporations calling in the police when their own personal private enforcers cant handle the job of abusing the workers at their picket lines. But this is relatively rare these days. Now-a-days, many of you just except the layoffs and corporate greed and go home and sulk, get drunk, and maybe beat-up the wife and kids. Remember the 'free Speech movement' at Peoples' Park, Berkeley, or other campuses during the anti-war movement? Probably not, unless you tweak it. That's all historical now, and has not been seen since your grandparents were young.
Complacent as we have become, this has led many politicians to think they are above the law and that the police serve them and not the people. The orders are issued, right mayor Brian Bladd, and then they are to be carried out with no questions asked. Not always the case. Sure, the officers don't want to lose their job, but what the heck they already risk their live often enough on the job. Well, police officers know the law, and they also know when the orders are not within the law. Ask any member of the Oath Keepers. It is the duty of the enforcers to uphold the law, not uphold the politicians that are manipulated by the corporations--although I understand it may feel that way sometimes. We are lucky that we are living in a small town and the members of our police force are often somebody we know, a neighbor or such, part of the neighborhood association and not just some hired goon to do the bidding of corrupt officials. Many of our police officers are independent thinkers and learn a bit about the law, some quite a bit--more than many lawyers I would say. But the politicians? Sometimes they just become those bullies and seekers of money and power.
What is it like to be trespassed? Trespass on a 'meth lab' and the goon squad will be out in force. Be trespassed by Old town, Inc because it's director doesn't like art, or the Peaceful Struggle Art show in a desperate attempt to cover up control issues is just plain mean, as well as meaningless if you cant face your accusers! Trespass on the UP Rail Road or the FMC Chemical Weapons Division's Mount Uranium and believe me the security alarms will go off--been there, done that! But being trespassed by corrupt government officials and using the entire police force as their private bullies just to stop leaks would be good case for George Orwell's 1984. Hmm.. 2014...Was George off by 30 years? We have a phrase for that, it's called “Police State,” and most of us would hope we are not there yet—although there are those that keep trying. Yes, Keep trying to stop the leaks in Pocatello's government corruption and cover-up. Maybe we don't have Wiki Leaks, but we sure as heck have Idaho Leaks! That has been the issue all along, leaking! Leaking about nuclear cover-up, leaking at department levels, hold secret meetings and voila, the dam is still leaking. Leaky street workers. Damn, if your life is in danger everyday when you work without at least mask for protection and a Geiger counter, what do you have to lose? Your life is at stake just trying to feed your kids. Yes, some will sell their souls to run truck out at FMC' s Mount Uranium. Yes, many are worried about their jobs. But that is because they often feel alone, desperate and afraid.
Question. How many times did Idaho Lorax try to get arrested in Pocatello trying to face his accusers? Don't know? Would you believe in this one month's time, over 100 times! The trespass mayoral order was delivered on November 3, the day before election. Where do you think Idaho votes? Take a guess! ..Yes, City Hall! And with the Pocatello State Journal camera crew on hand and as witness, Idaho proudly trespassed across the parking lot and into 911 City Hall in full HasMat attire, there wasn't a police officer in sight! Not a police person in the building! When Idaho finished voting and bellowed out his pleads to arrest him, it vibrated through City Hall like an empty auditorium, and not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. Outside, in front off City Hall during an interview there appeared a police car about 100 yards away. Later, we learned that Brian Bladd had been informed to Idaho's presence at City Hall requesting to be arrested, and asking be able to face his accusers. Brian Blad later visited the election precinct and apologized to the election works there, We can only assume he just didnt think things through ---it's tough being the puppet for his puppeteers. Later still, on election night, Idaho Lorax interviewed Brian Blad where Brian acknowledged his trespassed presence at City Hall and asked Idaho: “Why do you want to get arrested? (...Duh?!) Idaho responded clearly: “To face my accusers, you Brian, and expose the cover-up!”
We used to be a Union town, but now not even the ACL Union dares to stand in the picket lines of justice here in Pocatello. We can only assume that Idaho's family ethnic clan name sounds too, Armenian. When will it be your turn?
