Welcome to Sunday All Day Brunch. This is an open topic thread so help yourself to the goodies and sit a spell and let us know what is new with you. I have been doing art all my life. Sometimes a picture will come to me and I'll work to get what is in mind on the computer screen. Some of my pictures have a story behind them. Here are some pictures with some background notes of how they cam to be.
Saturn and Enceladus was inspired by reading an article in National Geographic about geysers on the moon. I was frustrated because there were of course no pictures from the surface of the moon so I did my own. A couple years ago a PR person from NASA looked at the picture and asked where I got the photograph from.

Shore of Dreams got its name from a friend of mine over in Wales.

The Night Sky was fun to do and is a favorite of my brother Reid.

Under Starry Skies was chosen to be the cover of a Hugo award winning magazine. It was my first cover and I was thrilled.

Viking Ships came about from a request my Ojibwa for a Viking picture for a class he was teaching.

Wanna Race was my first picture with the new DAZ horse. I just loved the idea of the puppy wanting to race the horse.

Watching the Moon combines four favorite things big cats, dolphins, the moon, and the ocean waves.

Waterfall was another picture inspired by a trip with my Dad.
