Hi everybody, how was your weekend?
I'm watching Celebrity Name Game while writing this. A contestant just gave her Sean Connery impersonation and Craig stood behind her furrowing his brow, chin in hand. Oh how I wish he would just bust out Sean Connery on the moon or something. It is odd to hear him invite people to follow the show on Twitter, not the Tweetie. OTOH he did just introduce two contestants as frisky badgers. And he is making fun of them a little bit. He is mostly very carefully kind to the guests though.
CBS says tonight's LLS guest host is Jim Gaffigan with guests Michael Ian Black and Ashley Williams.
I was feeling kinda low and puttered around a lot today, worrying about my mom, my daughter, my job, my cat, my friend who's having neck surgery tomorrow, my town, my planet, the gunk-covered birds in the bay... you name it, I'm worried about it. Made soup tonight for DD who may have the flu. I finished a book I like very much called The Golem and the Jinni -- a beautifully written fairy tale for adults, very readable, and thoughtful about immigrants, navigating between cultures, and destiny vs free will -- and another good book, Berry Gordy's autobiography called To Be Loved: the Music, the Magic, the Memories of Motown, great to read after visiting Hitsville in Detroit last year.
