Good evening, fellow venthooligans! I'm faced with a dilemma tonight. I've been underwhelmed with the Late, Late Show in it's current guest host du jour format. Someone mentioned that the guest hosts might be better as guests, but there's nothing that grabs me. To be honest, I quit watching. I figured that if I noticed a guest, or host, I wanted to see, I'd turn it on. Well, I am a big Judd Apatow fan. He makes silly, sophomoric movies. No highbrow reviews but a lot of award nominations. I still laugh at Freaks and Geeks, Pineapple Express, Bridesmaids and This is 40 reruns. A lot. Don't know how he'll fare as guest host. Probably no worse than Drew Carey or Jim G. His guests tonight are Adam Sandler, Lena Dunham, and Maria Bamford.
Here's an interesting interview with James Corden, and his plans for The Late, Late, Show. http://tvline.com/...
