Hey Floridians, are you tired of your children being brainwashed with anti-American left-wing history talking points? Are you sick of having the Blame America First Crowd in charge of letting your children know just how amazing, fantastic and exceptional the US of A really is?
Great news! Two courageous, patriotic lawmakers have taken it upon themselves to balance the state's anti-American history curriculum, by making it MANDATORY for every 8th and 11th grade student to view "America: Imagine the World Without Her," a fair and balanced film by noted public intellectual and defender of liberty, Dinesh D'Souza!
For those of you not familiar with "America: Imagine the World Without Her," this is a film that was released in 2014 to correct a number of common misconceptions about American history. Being the thoughtful public servant that he is, the film's creator, Dinesh D'Souza, has created a condensed, 80 minute version for use in the classroom, where the fertile minds of tomorrow's leaders have their perceptions of historical reality shaped.
So, what in the historical record does the film seek to correct?
1. Slavery was bad.
2. Wiping out Native Americans was bad.
3. Colonialism was bad.
Y'know, basic stuff. We know all of these assumptions are wrong, because America is awesome! Also, freedom.
Of course D'Souza can't save our children by replacing historical record with hagiographic paeans to the Real America (TM) all on his own. Thank Reagan he has two brave legislators, Republicans Sen. Alan Hays and Rep. Neil Combee, bravely stepping up to jam his vision of reality into the eyeballs of every public school student in the Sunshine State! Twice!
As a parent, I am simply overjoyed that this piece of intellectually rigorous, historically accurate documentary film is going to be foisted upon my children. Please consider contacting Senator Hays and Representative Combee directly to let them know how much you appreciate their brave patriotism and concern for our children!
