Let me not get back to you on that.
Never has a sitting governor's apparent inability to articulate straight answers to simple questions sounded
so darn inspiring.
Walker "refuses to be distracted by the small, petty, and pale ideas that the 'gotcha' headline writers for the Liberal Media want to talk about. He refuses to be drawn into the sideshow of answering pointless questions about whether and how much President Obama loves our country. To Governor Walker, what matters are ideas, issues, his record, and results," wrote Friends of Scott Walker, the organization that runs his re-election campaign. [...]
"Now is the time to stand up against the publicity hounds and the journalistic pack, and help Governor Walker fight back," Walker's campaign wrote in the email, asking supporters for contributions. "Your support will show the clueless and mindless journalistic herd that you know what matters most and that it is not the pointless minutiae that they are pushing."
Those cruel journalistic packs, circling the governor and asking that the would-be presidential candidate share his
opinions on the important Republican topics of the day. Or, in the case of evolution, century.
Yep, that's right: Scott Walker is now fundraising off his determination to not answer reporter questions. He's like Joni Ernst without the hog castration subtext. He's like Ronald Reagan, if Ronald Reagan was the name of a potted plant next to Scott Walker's desk.
In fact, Scott Walker wants to direct you to his brand-new "Gotcha Questions" fundraising page. There you will find a picture of Scott Walker, a form allowing you to input your email address, and an inspirational quote ...
"IT IS MY INTENTION TO CURB THE SIZE AND INFLUENCE OF THE FEDERAL ESTABLISHMENT AND TO DEMAND RECOGNITION OF THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN THE POWERS GRANTED TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND THOSE RESERVED TO THE STATES OR TO THE PEOPLE. ALL OF US NEED TO BE REMINDED THAT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DID NOT CREATE THE STATES; THE STATES CREATED THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT."
... by Ronald Reagan, because Scott Walker did not have even a single comment for his own fundraising page. He farmed it out.
