Stuff happens, like tonight. No diarist. Good thing I have a draft of possible future TC topics, including one partially written.

I know that cats dream because when they sleep I see twitching whiskers and bodily twitching. I wonder what they're dreaming about.
I now know they can have a nightmare.
A few weeks ago, Misty was sleeping on "her" chair next to the computer (Never sit on it - it's hers and hers alone. If you even think of sitting on it, she will remind you that it's HER chair). I started to hear her cry, saw her body twitching, and then she suddenly jerked awake. The crying got worse and she snuggled up for some reassurance. It took plenty of rubs and scratchies to get her settled down.
I can't imagine what she was dreaming about. It must have been awful.
It seems, however, that cats can have nightmares.
Has anyone else had this happen with their cat?
It seems that both Steven Payne and I rushed in to fill tonight (I must have missed his email). What he wrote is hilarious while I did a copy and paste of something sitting in the hopper.
He decided to publish it on it's own so you might want to go and have some fun in there, too.
