There are really no words to describe the GOP that truly capture that naked institution's utter disregard of and disdain toward people who do not look like, speak like, believe like, love like, or live like its membership.
To be fair, there might be some closeted individuals in the caucus who do not share the collective’s degree of fearful and hostile ethnocentrism.
But, the harsh truth is thus: anonymity is complicity in the Grand Old Party.
Has the GOP made any public statements regarding
the report on Ferguson released this week? Anything?
Rep Scalise? Speaker?
Majority Leader? Anyone?
Listening to the press conference or reading the
report, it is disturbingly clear how the Ferguson police and local courts
operate.
There is no accusation of racism here;
there is a mountain of profane, pervasive, and tragic proof.. The consequences of the practices of and collusion among the police, courts, prosecutor, and others have cost the entire community immeasurable, irreplaceable losses.
This is not hyperbole; this is not someone on Facebook accusing someone of racism.

Ferguson law enforcement is an INSTITUTIONALLY SANCTIONED CULTURE of harassing, terrorizing, imprisoning, psychologically abusing, and physically violent authorities, who view the citizenry they were sworn to serve and protect as subhuman.
This is horrendous.
Imagine yourself living in a town like Ferguson! Every time you leave the house, cross the street, park your car, or shop in a store, there is a fairly good chance that you will encounter a law enforcement officer who is programmed to scrutinize you for... the slightest misstep.
An awkward expression,or a misinterpreted posture could be enough to get yourself humiliated, fined, imprisoned, or killed.
The irony! The insanity!
Missouri is an open carry state!
A person who is black, with a gun, ....
....exercising his or her rights as ordained by the Missouri State Republican legislature's override of the governor's veto in 2014.....
…..walking around Ferguson??
Where is the "freedom" and the "liberty" of which the self aggrandized 'Real Americans' speak?!
A person who is not white living in Ferguson and too many other places like it has neither that "freedom", ....nor the guarantee that their Constitutional rights will be protected.
Ferguson and places like it are the 21st century subjugation of non-white people in the US.
Americans desperately need to be mindful of Ferguson
during the remembrances of Freedom Summer, the March in Selma, and the now gutted Voting Rights Act.
That is the truth. Period.
