Tell me more about how Eric Holder is "unlike any previous attorney general," please.
Missouri Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder is
all worked up about racism. Too bad he's missing the reality of racism and going on a tear against imaginary anti-white racism. According to Kinder, speaking on NewsMaxTV, "there is more racism in the Justice Department than there is any, uh, yes, anywhere that I see in the St. Louis area." The key phrase there being "that I see," because, you know, "none so blind as those who will not see" and all that.
Never mind the racist emails sent by someone who was until recently the top court clerk in Ferguson, when you have a town that was basically arresting or issuing fines to all the non-white people in sight, raking in revenue off of fines and court fees and jailing those who couldn't pay, and when that system isn't restricted to one town, if you can't see racism, you might want to have your willingness to see checked on. Unfortunately, there's no easy eye chart a doctor can use to diagnose that one. But Kinder does see racism in the world. He just sees it in the people trying to fight racially disparate policing practices. According to Kinder:
... President Obama and Eric Holder “took one side” following the death of Michael Brown. Asked why, he said the Justice Department was “staffed with radical, hard-left radical, leftists lawyers.”
He called the Justice Department under Holder, “not like any Justice Department in American history” and “Eric Holder is unlike any previous attorney general.”
“Many of them have spent most of their careers defending Black Panthers and other violent radicals,” he added. ”
Yes, Eric Holder is unlike any previous attorney general. In that he's black. And appointed by a black president. That seems to be the crux of Kinder's problem here. But Holder and Obama are the racist ones, because how dare they try to crack down on a police department and local courts that systematically arrest, imprison, and impoverish people based on the color of their skin.
