Noted theologian, scholar and intellectual, Rep. Steve King (R-ClownCar), told Boston Herald Radio that he was baffled by American Jews who weren't wildly supportive of Bibi Netanyahu and his poorly-judged foray into US politics:
"Well, there were some 50 or so Democrats that, that decided they would boycott the president's speech," King said. "Here's what I don't understand, I don't understand how Jews in America can be Democrats first and Jewish second and support Israel along the line of just following their President."
The reliably pop-eyed and deranged King went on to say:
I mean the president wants the world to be, he thinks somehow he can force the world to be the way he myopically believes it is. You have to be a realist."
A Teahadist who's concerned about 'reality'? Now I've heard everything.
But doubtless American Jews, the vast majority of whom are Democrats precisely because of vicious crackpots and hatemongers like King, will be grateful that he's pointed out where their 'duty' lies. Or maybe not...
