Wow.....Tax Day has taken on a whole new meaning for me.
I used to get my taxes down way before tax day and get my refund back way before April 15... but this year will be different.
This year April 15 represents something altogether different for me.....I will give you a hint
I met with my surgeon and he wanted to do surgery sooner rather than later, and so I am set to go into surgery as soon as the holiday (Passover) is over and he gets back into town.
I should expect to be in the hospital for 3 to 5 days and recovery is up to 4 to 5 weeks. He said that I would be having laparoscopic surgery, but depending on what he finds or does not find, he might have go hands on, and there is also the possibility that they will not be able to find the blockage which is a risk of any of this type of surgery. He again reiterated that it is probably not cancerous but that they will not be sure until they get it out and look at it.
For those of you that care I will probably not be on from the hospital, but friends will be updating my status on Facebook. If you're in the Detroit area, I'd love to have a visitor or three, shoot what better way than to pass the time then to listen to people talk about politics? I will have a tube in my throat so I am not sure how talkative I will be ;) but I'd love to listen. So if you are around feel free to swing by Beaumont in Royal Oak sometime after the 15th. :)
