Dr. Chaps, or Gordon Klingenschmidt, or worst of all, Representative Klingenschmidt, has been around for a long time on the youtube interview circuit. David Pakman has been interviewing him since a few years ago.
The guy goes and gets elected, and now the former Chaplain gets some heat from his own side for spewing nonsense every day on his "show."
Klingenschmidt was the one who said that a woman was attacked because she was cursed by god for other people having abortions. Apparently, that's a righteous outcome in Dr. Chaps' book.
Today's reasonable demonization of his own personal demon comes in the form of a prediction he is making about the trend towards more gayness.
He looks at his watch, and he says, "Gosh, I remember when the census came out in 2010..." He goes on to point out that the census reported on the percent of people who are in same sex cohabitation situations.
That number was a shocking- 1%.
Fast forward to today, and Klingenschmidt "remembers reading" that the number is now 3%!
He goes from there to extrapolate out that in 100 years, 20% of the country will be gay.
Do you not fear the future!? I ask you!
He additionally reports that in the South, "where they believe in the bible," fewer people report that they are gay, than on the "left coast, where they don't believe the bible."
Klingenschmidt claims that being gay is an addiction, and that this information proves to him "that the bible works."
Okay, Dr. Chaps, just keep working the program and nobody will notice your sexy black turtlenecks. If you ever feel like you're going to slip, just give Dr. Rekers a call. He knows a masseuse who can help you out.
