Concerned Sharia Law, Islamic law, is being legislated here in the United States?
Some characteristics of Sharia law:
. women's health decisions, under law, largely in men's hands
. women's role(s) in public life is limited by religious doctrine and/or tradition
. government, basic law, based on, reflective of, religious doctrine
. little or no distinction between religious and civil law
. men enjoy more rights under law than do women
. homosexuality criminalized
. religious doctrine takes precedence over scientific method, discovery, and applied science
. religion taught in schools, influences general studies curriculum
Concerned?
Vote out those here, of any religion, who promote these positions. They're not inspired by the challenges of the 7th Century (CE), when Sharia Law came about, let alone by those of the 21st.
