From CNN:
IBM has sent a letter to the governor of Louisiana warning that a pending religious freedom bill would create a hostile environment for the tech company's employees.
IBM Vice President James Driesse wrote to Governor Bobby Jindal that a such a bill would make it difficult for the company to attract talent to work in its Baton Rouge facility.
Mr. Driesse went on to say he sincerely hoped that the bill would be non-discriminatory.
Governor Jindal, no surprise, thinks this is all about "liberty". Who's liberty and from what?
I'm glad to see IBM taking a stand and speaking out. No threats were made to relocate their facility but theirs is a huge name.
