Tonight's guest on the Daily Show is Dana Perino and panelists on The Nightly Show Kevin Johnson, Judy Gold, and Guy Branum discuss drought shaming.
Dana Perino is a political commentator for Fox News, while also serving as a co-host of the network's talk show The Five, and is a book publishing executive at Random House and was the 27th White House Press Secretary, serving under President George W. Bush. Tonight she is on to discuss her book
And the Good News Is...: Lessons and Advice from the Bright Side
Thoughtful, inspiring and often surprising, AND THE GOOD NEWS IS... traces Dana's unlikely journey through politics, the White House, and television. She has an uncanny ability for knowing what to say and how best to say it. A recurring theme in AND THE GOOD NEWS IS...is that planning has never worked for Dana; every time she has made a plan, something unexpected-and often better-has happened.
AND THE GOOD NEWS IS... blends a candid self-portrait with advice for allowing one's very best personality traits to shine through, emphasizing that dignity and civility are choices we make for ourselves.
I have no intention of reading this book.
I love the utter cluelessness of the following. It is just so...
Perino: Reid 'absolutely poisonous'
Dana Perino, the White House press secretary under President George W. Bush, on Tuesday excoriated Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), calling him “poisonous.”
“He’s an absolutely poisonous figure in Washington, D.C., he’s been a disaster for the country,” she said on the Hugh Hewitt Show.
“I think a lot of the dysfunction in Washington can be traced directly to his doorstep.”
You worked for Bush. You sold his lies and Reid is the problem? Reid
‽
