Nuz Hounds and would like to be Nuz Hounds:
We will be running our Blogathon for Animal Nuz from
June 6 to June 13.
Anyone who wants to use a template will have one available, in a variety of formats, no later than Sunday, May 17th, in the Nuz Hounds queue.
These templates will reside in the Nuz Hounds queue, they will be clearly labeled "Template 1 - DO NOT PUBLISH", etc.
For those unfamiliar with working in a group environment, and to view the upcoming Blogathon schedule (so far), please see below the fleur-de-kos...
This is the calendar for the 1st Annual Nuz Hounds Blogathon:
Per the recent message to Nuz Hounds members, our goal is to run at least one diary every 8 hours, for the first 7 days of the Blogathon. More diarists are of course happily welcomed to join in - we can adjust the length of shifts if there are more than enough diarists on any given day.
Each diarist will be asked to act as Host, which entails responding to comments when applicable and to encourage everyone who sees the diary to please recommend and to republish to any Group which will accept a republish request. Also to thank each donor who posts their donation amount!
Even though each shift is for 8 hours, each Host will only be asked to remain actively hosting for a minimum of 2 hours - anything after that in your "shift" is up to the individual diarist.
Diary Hosts are also encouraged to share with their own social networks and to encourage those connections to share it, too. Our cartoonist will gratefully accept donations from within AND without our Daily Kos Community. The fact is, one of the purposes of a week-long Blogathon is to raise awareness of Animal Nuz and it's creator in the wider world.
This is the schedule with the already taken dates/shifts. Anyone already on the schedule who needs a change, please DKosmail or text message me asap to get your shift changed!

For those who have never worked in a group, collaborative effort, using Template diaries?
To use a group Template, you'll open a New Diary and then in another tab, you will open the Template diary from the Nuz Hounds queue. You'll copy and paste the Template code into the Intro and Extended portions of your New Diary, as instructed in the Template Diary.
After you copy out of the Template diary? CLOSE the TAB it's open in. DO NOT try and save it. That might change the contents of the Template diary!!!
Then complete the HOST portion of the diary (which will be clearly labeled) and save the diary into the Nuz Hounds queue. You can do this as early as May 17th (the day the Templates will go live in the Nuz Hounds queue) - HOWEVER >>>
please note: if you want to add a customized Tip Jar, you MUST add this just before the diary is scheduled to publish. If you add a customized Tip Jar more than 24 hours before the diary is published, no one will be able to Tip you!
