Tonight's guest on The Daily Show is Melissa McCarthy and the panelists on The Nightly Show are Dan St. Germain, Jo Koy, and Kristina Wong.
Melissa McCarthy is an actress, comedian, writer, and producer. She will always be Sookie St. James from Stars Hollow to me, although more people probably know her as Molly Flynn-Biggs on Mike & Molly or from her roles in Bridesmaids, Identity Thief and The Heat. Tonight she is on to promote her latest movie
Spy
Susan Cooper is an unassuming, deskbound CIA analyst, and the unsung hero behind the Agency's most dangerous missions. But when her partner falls off the grid and another top agent is compromised, she volunteers to go deep undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent a global crisis.
It seems like a funny movie, if you liked her in any of her recent comedic roles, you will probably enjoy this movie.
Dan St. Germain
is a regular on "Best Week Ever" and has been seen on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," "John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show" on Comedy Central, "The Electric Company," and a bunch of other basic and not so basic cable shows… Don’t watch his drunken racist rant on Logo. He was going through a hard time. He’s the creator and star of the web series "Kicking Dan Out" featured on My Damn Channel and has his own podcast called "My Dumb Friends" co-hosted by friend and lover Sean Donnelly.
He’s appeared as a guest on WTF with Marc Maron, as a “New Face” at The Montreal Comedy Festival, and in a Super Bowl commercial with Howard Stern. His “cat guy” joke was selected as one of the twenty best jokes about NY, a list which included Woody Allen.
Jo Koy
is an American stand-up comic. He is currently touring the college circuit as a featured comedian and performs in clubs across the country. He is often a panelist on E!'s late night show Chelsea Lately. Jo has gained a large following of fans lately from his semi-regular appearances on The Adam Carolla Show, where he does numerous impressions from P.F. Chang's greeter to angry black cabbie. Announced on The Woody Show that he drives a Tesla named Poppycock.
Kristina Wong
is an American comedian known primarily for her work as a solo theater performer, artist and actor. Wong is a third generation Chinese American born in San Francisco and living in Los Angeles.
