Once again Bill Maher in a most amusing manner eviscerates the fallacy that somehow Christianity is under attack. Fox News is famous for these types of "wars." Who can forget the yearly War on Christmas that is effected like clockwork throughout Fox News.
"Conservatives who constantly whine that Christianity is under attack from liberals have to explain why there are over three hundred thousand churches in the US but only four hundred Whole Foods," Bill Maher said. "Clearly your side is winning."
Maher said that Christians love to feel persecuted because it is part of their origin story. He said seventy percent of the country is Christian. He also said every president elected so far has been a Christian.

Bill Maher then asked in what universe statements by the following right wingers make sense."
Mike Huckabee: "We are moving rapidly toward the criminalization of Christianity."
Ted Cruz: "There is no room for Christians in today's Democratic Party. ... There is a liberal fascism that is going after Christian believers."
Bill O'Reilly: If you are a Christian or a white man in the USA, it's open season on you."
Rick Santorum: "The treatment of Christians is so bad we should keep in mind Nazi Germany. ... where you go from Christians—Jews, obviously, but also Christians—being not just persecuted but put to death."
Jeb Bush: "How strange, in our time, to hear Christianity spoken of as some sort of backward and oppressive force."
Sean Hannity: "The liberal media's war against religion is alive and well."
Bill Maher points out that 80 percent of Congress is Christian. Seventy-eight percent of governors are Christian. Maher admonished them to do their research. Maher then went on to prove how silly the claims are. He could not find one person in the liberal media landscape, sports, or elsewhere that have maligned Christians.
