There's no disclaimer here other than I had great relationships with my grandparents as a child and, like many of us, I would love to see them again some day.
The documentary "Present Perfect" was filmed a couple of years ago and follows the preschool children and elderly seniors inside of the senior care center at Providence Mount St. Vincents's in Seattle. The preschool program is housed in the same facility and this "experiment" is documented by mother of 2 (and soon to be 3) Evan Briggs.
Briggs had wanted to do a film project on the topic of aging when a friend told her about the unique facility. She said the elderly come alive when toddlers enter the room weekdays for story telling, dancing, art activities, or meal making.
"The kids would come in and total infusion of energy," Briggs said.
The film is in the post-production phase now. You can find out more about the documentary and the progress being made on the film on its
Facebook page.
You can watch the 4 minute trailer below the fold but be warned, I found myself suffering a terrible allergic reaction and needed multiple paper tissues.
