I don't usually get into sharing crazy things conservatives post on the internet. I decided to make an exception just this one time. This was posted on Facebook today by the pastor of a non-denominational church in Wheeling, WV. The remarks at the top of the post in quotes are from the article itself. The last two sentences at the top are the minister's own thoughts. I've underlined them for emphasis.
I rejected Christianity about 15 years ago and haven't stepped foot in a church since. I don't recall ever hearing any of this bloodthirsty rhetoric from those ministering to a local flock during my "Christian" period. The craziest of the crazy ministers have always been...somewhere else. This one hit me really hard because the minister is a local.
I screen-capped a small sampling of "The Flock's" thoughts. Those wonderful, compassionate people hope that the church shooter repents & finds Jesus before he gets a needle in the arm.
These people are lost and I don't know what, if anything, can ever "fix" them.
