Dear Friends
I would like to extend an invitation to you and anyone else you think might be interested to a Patient Advocate meeting here at CIRM in San Francisco, next Wednesday, July 15th at noon. I apologize for the ridiculously short notice but we are putting this, and two other meetings in San Diego and Los Angeles, together quite quickly.
We are in the process of developing a new Strategic Plan for the stem cell agency. We’ve been around for ten years and the field has changed quite a bit in those years so we think it’s about time we put together a blueprint for the next few years. We have almost one billion dollars left to invest in research and want to make sure we do it in the best possible way. So, we are soliciting ideas and thoughts and suggestions from a wide group of people including patient advocates and supporters of stem cell research. This is an excellent opportunity for everyone to come and join us for an hour or so to help shape our future.
The meeting is here at CIRM at 210 King Street, San Francisco, CA 94107. There is parking in the building and we are providing a light lunch. We are directly opposite AT&T, the Giants baseball stadium (fortunately there’s no game that day) so there is also good public transportation nearby.
...feel free to share this with anyone you think might be interested in joining us. We want to hear from as many different people as possible.
Again I apologize for the late notice.
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to call or email.
Cheers
