I see that Donald Trump, he of the "somebody's doing the raping" battle cry, is now TOPING the GOP polls.
Trump leads GOP presidential field in new national poll
If you read the story, it's obvious that his anti-immigrant rhetoric is the reason FOR his popularity.
And I see that he's vowing to go the distance, and may even run as a third party candidate.
Trump vows long campaign, won’t commit to backing GOP nominee
Now we're at the best moment is the last two decades to choose the candidate we WANT not simply the candidate we think can win.
I would remind everyone about the election in 1992, where Ross Perot managed to get almost 20% of the national vote.
William Jefferson Clinton Democrat 43.01%
George H. W. Bush (Incumbent) Republican 37.45%
Henry Ross Perot Independent 18.91%
I'd also remind you that unlike the recent mid-term elections, the national outlook for GOP candidates isn't great. Clinton is seen as winning in basically every poll, and that's as a candidate that isn't seen as hugely exciting, and as someone that basically offers a continuation of Obama's policies, most of which aren't exactly exciting the progressives in America.
On the OTHER hand, Sanders is packing rooms, clawing his way up through the polls and saying things that no other candidate can or will say. Progressive things.
This is your chance people.
The GOP can't win in 2016, especially if Trump runs as an Indie. Vote your conscious, for once. Choose someone who can bring REAL change.
