We in America have a big problem. Something is happening here. Sandra Bland, coverups and daily abuse by people who are sworn to protect and serve, I get angry over another incident.
While reading comments about the looped video I refreshed my computer. I saw on the front page of MSN, another headline. This headline is taken from a story that just hit from the Guardian. I decided to look on Facebook and sure enough it was the same man who had been hogtied by police. The wife was threatned with arrest if she tried to visit her husband in the hospital. He died shortly after being Hogtied. People on Facebook are trying to get video. This all happened July 18th in Memphis... The Guardian says it is Mississippi police...The Facebook says Memphis.

On July 18, 2015, at around 7:45 p.m., Troy was arrested by the Southaven Police department, apparently for disorderly conduct. According to eyewitnesses, Troy was held down by multiple police officers and hogtied. After paramedics arrived, Southaven police strapped Troy onto a stretcher face-down and still hogtied. Troy was then transferred by police away from the scene, and he was eventually taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto. At around 9:00 p.m., family members who called Baptist were informed Troy was in stable condition, but that they would be arrested for obstruction of justice if they came to the hospital to check on him. Less than an hour later at 9:56 p.m., an employee of Baptist called Troy's wife, Kelli Goode, and informed her that Troy had passed away. The family has retained Ballin, Ballin & Fishman. The family's attorneys are actively investigating Troy's arrest to determine exactly what caused the death of an active, healthy, 30-year-old man. The attorneys are concerned with the amount of force used in Troy's arrest and troubled by the police officers' conduct toward his family and the public. Eyewitnesses to Troy's arrest have confirmed that Mr. Goode was hogtied. Eyewitnesses have also stated that Troy was saying, "I can't breathe" while strapped face-down to the stretcher. The attorneys are aware of at least two cell-phone videos taken by bystanders at the scene. According to eyewitnesses, officers threatened to arrest anyone taking cell phone footage of Troy's arrest or the restraints being used by police. Attorneys for the family ask that anyone with a cell phone video or anyone who may have information about Troy's arrest or death contact Ballin, Ballin & Fishman

Looking around on Facebook, I see this young man appears to be a liberal as has many friends who support our Dem candidates. He is white but according to the Guardian another fellow just recently died with this same Police force was black. Maybe the death does not care of political persuasion , then again, the ones dying seem to be for equality. They are not the ones showing up armed at tea parties.
From the Guardian Article:
Goode’s is the second death in police custody to occur in Mississippi this month, according to The Counted, an ongoing investigation into officer-involved deaths in the United States.
Jonathan Sanders, a 39-year-old unarmed black man, died after reportedly being placed in a 20-minute chokehold by a Stonewall police officer. The medical examiner has provisionally ruled Sanders died of asphyxiation, according to attorneys.
I do not think any of us are safe from cowardly cops on power trips ESPECIALLY the black community. The white community should not feel too safe.
We saw the beginning of this outrageous behavior during occupy but now...we are seeing these stories popping up everywhere.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
This video from you tube is all they have and doesn't sound real helpful or compassionate but all they have.
