The delusion is in denying that asking the moderator to protect him from protestors and then threatening to take his ball and go home in reaction to the protests doesn't mean anything and his rhetoric and record before or since are all that will matter.
I'm sorry, that is not how politics work. People asking to be President of the United States must look unshakable BECAUSE THEY MUST BE UNSHAKABLE.
Bernie failed a test of office in that moment in Arizona and will not make it out of Iowa because of it.
The President of the United States must be an Alpha. Betas need not apply. This applies regardless of gender, regardless of race, regardless of religion, and regardless of your political positions on issues.
If you can't take a handful of people protesting you and turn that into a loss for them and a win for you, even and especially when they are making arguments you agree with, you are not fit to be the most powerful person on earth.
Bernie failed a test of office. He failed it with gusto and his campaign is meaningless because of it.
Start supporting better candidates with his positions or prepare yourself for a Republican Administration.
By the way, the author, of this article drove 1,000 miles to see Senator Sanders speak in Madison, Wisconsin, so I was a supporter, but I know when someone has done something which cost them the race, and his actions were the actions of a losing candidate.
I am not and would never be a supporter of Secretary Clinton. I'm part of a group hopeful that someone worth voting for will emerge in the Democratic Primary now, but I'm not too hopeful.
