Tim Wright, a former Williamson County court-at-law judge, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and three years probation Friday after he pleaded guilty in May to two of nine felony counts.
Wright pleaded guilty to dealing firearms without a license and lying to federal agents. He admitted to selling guns to people with criminal records and lying to investigators throughout the course of the investigation. Federal officials say two buyers illegally smuggled some of those weapons to Mexico.
