From The Albuquerque Journal:
The office of Attorney General Hector Balderas today filed a 64-count criminal information and a complaint against Secretary of State Dianna Duran in state district court in Santa Fe.
The complaint alleges fraud, embezzlement, money laundering, violations of campaign laws, tampering with public records, conspiracy and violations of the Governmental Conduct Act.
It says Duran converted campaign contributions to her own use.

And so another GOP BigWig in State Government goes down. It was just days ago that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) was indicted for securities fraud. Sure, there are corrupt Democrats out there too - cough Menendez cough - but fewer by, like, a factor of ten, it would seem. It's almost as if corruption is what draws Republicans to work in Government in the first place - Christie, McDonnell, Walker, Rick Perry, Rick Scott, etc. etc.
