There are many edible goodies that are made by unionized workers.
For example, this here link has a list of foods made by union workers.
(Personally, I wouldn't waste money on bottled water, but that's just me).
I also consider dark chocolate to be a health food, so I eat plenty of union-made Ghirardelli chocolates. A list of candies made by union workers is here.
And if, after the holiday, you need jeans that are one size larger, yes, you can still buy union-made jeans! For years, I've worn “Union Line” 5-pocket jeans (style # 25305), but there are others. I got mine from www.unionlabel.com, but other places sell them, too.
It's not enough to “vote with our dollars”. That, alone, will not bring about justice for workers. We need elected officials who support workers' rights, along with changes in labor law to ensure workers' rights to decent pay, paid family leave, and other benefits. So, let's buy non-sweatshop products whenever possible, while continuing to agitate for changes in the political system.
