As being reported on MSNBC the judge ordered KY county clerk Kim
Davis to be placed in federal custody on direct contempt of court charges. The hearing is still in progress, and I'll update as more comes in.

According to coverage, the judge advised her that she had no right to refuse to comply, and was she prepared to resume her duties and issue licenses. She advised him she could not do so, and he ordered her remanded into federal custody...
10:27 AM PT: Per reporting on MSNBC Kim Davis has the right to appeal the judges ruling, but she will remain in custody until either Judge Bunning releases her or an appeals court judge rules in her favor. You can bet that her lawyers are already filing an emergency appeal, but as to how long it will take it to be heard, and whether another judge is going to rule against judge Bunning defending his turf is anybody's guess.
