I asked a fellow citizen if the election were held today, who would you vote for? This is in Red Corbin, KY where Republicans vastly outnumber Democrats. The first (older) guy I asked said he liked Carly Fiorina and Ben Carson. I told him I am firmly for Bernie Sanders but liked only George Pataki "People over Politics" as the Republican candidate. This guy wasn't familiar with Bernie Sanders, hopefully he will try to find out more. The next guy I asked said not sure but thought the Republican candidates were good for the comedic effect. When I asked about Bernie Sanders, he said he thought Bernie is too old for President but felt that Bernie has wisdom from age. And isn't that what America needs now, a Dad?
For us oldsters, Barak Obama can't qualify, even though he is a Dad because he is younger than us. But Bernie uniquely qualifies. Hillary can always run again. I was solidly for Hillary in 2008 but it was not meant to be. I predict another such upset for her for 2016. I really believe Bernie Sanders can be the nominee. I really hope so. We all need to get to the polls to vote Bernie 2016. So c'mon America, spread the word-Bernie 2016!
