We're just not going to have to worry our pretty heads about our health care now, because Sen. Rob Portman (OH-R. Of course.) is in charge of
deciding what care we can get, you know, "legitimately."
"I think it’s worth continuing to fight to defund. Taxpayer dollars should not be going to Planned Parenthood," he told Fox host Neil Cavuto. "I think our legislation makes a lot of sense. It says, not only do you not send taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood, but those tax dollars instead go to community health centers—there are a lot more of them than Planned Parenthood clinics; eight times more in the state of Ohio for instance—and they can provide the women's health needs that are legitimate, that are needed."
You know, the health needs that don't have anything to do with your lady parts. Because the lady parts have to be completely segregated from the rest of your body, lest they get you in trouble. And if anyone knows about the trouble lady parts—and talking about lady parts—can bring, it's a Republican.
Sign this message to Republicans: Don’t mess with Planned Parenthood. Stand up for women, not your extreme right-wing base.
