Southern Nevada's Cliven L. Bundy was sentenced to two-to-eight years in State Prison last Wednesday.
OK.....OK... settle down Militia's and play soldiers - this wasn't scofflaw racist Rancher Cliven Bundy who made national news last April when he and his merry band of anarchists faced off with Federal Agents, it was his namesake son Cliven Lance Bundy.

The elder Bundy has eight sons and seven daughters! - OMD, no wonder we get confused about which Bundy we are discussing. To avoid confusion we will refer to the younger Cliven Lance Bundy as Lance. Lance is 35 years old and has been in trouble with the law for many years. Does that surprise anyone? Lance has violated a five-year probation sentence that he received for a 2012 felony conviction for obtaining money under false pretenses in Lincoln County Nevada. His more recent violations revolve around continued parole violations and a drug court arrest warrant. Do you think any of his disrespect for the law could be genetic? Or is he simply a product of his environment? Read on before you decide.
Another Cliven Bundy son, Ryan Bundy, 42 was also arrested a couple of weeks ago in Utah. Ryan was a prominent figure during the standoff with Federal Law Enforcement agents
Ryan Bundy holds up his own version of the Constitution
last Spring. He appeared in the press many times espousing his deranged interpretation of the U.S. Constitution, among other things. By the way, that pocket copy of the Constitution Ryan quotes is the one provided and interpreted by the Constitutional Sherriffs and Peace officers Association (CSPOA). So why do we care where he got his pocket reference? Here is a link to shocking information about that organization and it's founder “Sheriff” Richard Mack. (

When reviewing the information on the CSPOE and Sheriff Mack it becomes apparent that there is more than a casual connection between these bands of anti-government extremists. That they are all tied to the Mormon religion also adds another twist to this group of government haters.
Ryan Bundy has an even longer list of problems with the law than his younger brother. His arrest last week took place when he was appearing in court in Cedar City, Utah to answer charges from a 2013 incident where he was charged with a misdemeanor for “responsibility for a nuisance”. At the courthouse Iron County Sheriff's deputies served him a warrant for failing to appear in a 2014 case where he was charged with interfering with an animal control officer. When Ryan Bundy was approached by the officers he “both verbally and physically resisted the deputies' attempts to take him into custody” according to Iron County Sheriff's Sgt Nik Johnson, and it took several deputies to get the situation under control. At the time Bundy reportedly told officers “that's not going to happen today” and immediately began fighting with them. But of course they DID overcome him and arrest him. He didn't have the luxury of a private army of mercenaries to back him up like his dad had last Spring!
After the incident Ryan told reporters that “all of a sudden they bring up some other charge, some interfering charge from a couple of years ago or something. I didn't

recognize what they were talking about”. In addition to the charges detailed above, Ryan also pleaded guilty in 2012 to misdemeanor theft, was convicted in 2011 of misdemeanor vehicle violations, pleaded no contest in 2008 to charges of interfering with arrest, and pleaded guilty in 2006 to burning without a permit. The Bundy clan just seems to have a hard time keeping track of all of their violations of the law, and then simply ignore them and think that they will go away. They are starting to find out that there is eventually a price to pay for refusing to live under the laws of a civil society.
Ryan also made news later last year when he pulled his children out of public schools of the Clark County School District because the schools wouldn't let his children bring knives to school! Alrighty then!
Is Cliven Bundy Sr. the Next Bundy to go to jail?
Now that two of the Bundy boys are starting to be held accountable for their litany of illegal activities can Cliven, Sr be far behind? Historically FBI investigations take about a year to come to fruition, and the one year anniversary of the Bunkerville lawlessness is approaching. For those of us who live in Southern Nevada the completion of the “roundup” can't happen quickly enough.
