From the Brady Campaign, and I will just imagine they won't be too picky about fair use since the goal of this effort is to raise awareness. I am posting it here so that people have access to the freshest stats for making those arguments we are making for increased gun safety regulations (or whatever you wish to call it.)

Every day, 48 children and teens are shot in murders, assaults, suicides & suicide attempts, unintentional shootings, and police intervention.
Every day, 7 children and teens die from gun violence:
5 are murdered
2 kill themselves.

31 shot in an assault
1 survives a suicide attempt
8 are shot unintentionally
