The US will study pot as a cure for PTSD
A first-of-its-kind clinical trial will look at the effectiveness of medical marijuana in treating post traumatic stress disorder among veterans.
The Drug Enforcement Agency’s approval this week marks the first time a U.S regulatory agency has signed off on a study aimed at developing smoked whole-plant marijuana into a legal prescription drug, according to the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, the nonprofit group sponsoring the research.

The state-owned Posti company is offering a weekly grass cutting service, with customers able to choose either 30 minutes or 60 minutes of lawn-mowing time, the national broadcaster Yle reports. It will only be available on Tuesdays, though, as the volume of post tends to be lighter than on other days, and customers will have to provide their own lawnmower.
World's oldest dog dies at age 30
A Kelpie that may have been the oldest dog ever died in her bed on Sunday in Woolsthorpe, Australia.
Brian McLaren told the local Weekly Times newspaper that his dog Maggie lived to the remarkable age of 30.
“She was still going along nicely last week,” McLaren reportedly said. “She was walking from the dairy to the office and growling at the cats and all that sort of thing.”
