If you're just joining us, Donald Trump was declared the winner of the Indiana GOP primary the moment the final polls closed in the state. He's currently crushing Ted Cruz 53-34 with 25% of precincts reporting, and he’s on track for another delegate sweep, or close to it. Cruz now has almost no way to prevent Trump from obtaining an outright delegate majority before the convention.
The Democratic race, meanwhile, is very tight but has consistently been trending in Bernie Sanders’ direction. He is now up by 1%, just 1,656 votes out of 194,000 cast. However, because Democrats award their delegates proportionally, a narrow Sanders win would not change the overall trajectory of the primary.
