Susan Sarandon, Bernie Sanders surrogate, has gone to a dark place once again, echoing Rightwing rhetoric whining about a non existent “indictment,” proffering that Sanders can still win by the “numbers” and once again reinforcing that she will not vote for Clinton, if Clinton is the nominee:
Actress Susan Sarandon predicted Thursday that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be indicted over her use of a private email system while at the State Department, an issue that has hung over her entire campaign.
Sarandon, an outspoken supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders, told MSNBC Thursday that she made the remark when discussing the potential of flipping some superdelegates who support Clinton to Sanders side.
"Nobody's even talking about this indictment. What happens with that?" Sarandon told MSNBC's Chris Jansing. "Besides the trust issue of catching her in so many lies..."
"Well, there has been no indictment," Jansing responded.
"No, but there's going to be. There's going to be. I mean, it's inevitable," Sarandon said. "[W]e don't know that he's not going to get the numbers either," Sarandon added.
The famed actress also said that it is unlikely that she will back Clinton if she were to win the Democratic nomination
Notwithstanding the utter stupidity and unadulterated fantasies of Sarandon, I think it’s time Sanders himself put an end to this self defeating meme coming from members of his own campaign, from Sarandon to Bernie Or Bust members to his own campaign chairman Jeff Weaver, who helps keep these fantasies alive. Hillary Clinton is not under personal investigation by the FBI and no, he will never have the numbers to be the nominee.
I “used” to like Bernie Sanders, even though Ive always supported HRC, but now I can't stand to look at him or hear about him, for just these kinds of reasons. He’s no longer running to be president, he’s running to burn the house down.
Sarandon’s comments today are spreading like wildfire all over the Rightwing media and websites, just google Breitbart, Freeper and Washington Times, and it will be parroted by Trump and the rest of the Republican clowns, even if none of it is factual or truthful. Sanders must put an end to this ugly rhetoric by his supporters and surrogates.
