If you don’t know what that’s about, after Bernie Sanders got Hillary Clinton nominated by acclamation, about 150 Sanders delegates tied black gags around their mouths, marched out of the convention, and occupied the media tent.
Their hope, of course, was that the media would continue to write about the “divided” convention. But there are about 1,800 Sanders delegates, so this is a dead-end irrelevant minority, fitting that they find themselves on the outside. These aren’t “Sanders supporters” anymore, because they’re ignoring everything he is imploring them to do. 92 percent of Sanders delegates are happy to cheer party unity. These are simply dead-enders, and they matter as much as the PUMAs did. Good riddance to them. The party marches onward, and if you aren’t watching this convention with crazy pride over who we are and what we represent, then I don’t know what to say.
