Two polls of Latino voters released this week show that Latinos are highly motivated this election, they strongly favor Hillary Clinton, and the vast majority (79 percent) don't believe for a second that Donald Trump is "softening" his immigration stance even if journalists say it’s so.
Forty-nine percent of Latino voters believe he has the same position now as before, while 30% believe he has hardened it in recent days. Only 22% believe that Trump has changed his position for the better, and just 17% plan to vote for him in November.
An additional 81 percent said Trump's campaign has made Americans “angrier and more divided on immigration and racial issues because of Donald Trump’s campaign.”
In the battleground state polls (AZ, CO, FL, NC, NV, OH, VA) conducted Aug. 19-30, anywhere from 76-84 percent of respondents said they were "absolutely certain" to vote in November. The lowest number (76) came from North Carolina, while Latino Floridians were the most motivated (84).
Latino voters also either favored or heavily favored Democratic Senate candidates in every battleground matchup.
Please pitch in $3 to help elect Hillary Clinton and stop Trump's vilification of immigrants.
