Why does Darrell Issa, the wealthiest member of Congress, think Donald Trump is "the obvious choice" for president? His Democratic rival, Doug Applegate, has the answer in his new campaign ad: they're two peas in a pod. "I'm really rich," Trump says in the ad, which goes on to link Issa’s political perch to his own financial gain.
"Issa's wealth increased to over $250 million during his time in Congress," charges the ad, followed by Applegate stating, "It's time we had a congressman who looks out for you, not himself."
That's just one of four ads recently released by House Democratic candidates, all of whom are Daily Kos endorsees. In Montana, GOP Rep. Ryan Zinke is lying about Democrat Denise Juneau's record. In Alaska, GOP Rep. Don Young let Alaska jobs be outsourced. And in Michigan, Democrat Paul Clements introduces himself as a fighter against special interests.

Will you pitch in $1 to each of our 11 endorsees to give them the firepower to turn the House blue?
