The Trump campaign sure has a way of turning a day of bad news into another day of bad news. Thursday, a campaign chair in an Ohio county had to leave the campaign over her racist comments about racism, including that there was no racism until President Obama was elected. Almost immediately, the replacement chair in that county started making news:
As reporters from the Columbus Dispatch and the Cleveland Plain Dealer observed, Ohio GOP Treasurer Tracey Winbush deleted some 17,000 tweets on the same afternoon that she was named as Trump’s new campaign chair for Mahoning County.
While Winbush didn’t herself make negative comments about the real estate mogul, she did share articles labeling Trump a “racist, sexist demagogue” and a “Godless man.”
Winbush supported Ohio Gov. John Kasich during the primaries. But some of her other tweets suggest that Trump isn’t a bad match for her—she had an anti-Islam tweet and a conspiracy theory one.
Can you help Hillary Clinton beat this guy by giving $2?
