Mere hours after Donald Trump was elected President of the United States a series of horrifying graffiti posting and open bullying incidents occurred at schools across the country.
In Minnesota, students told WCCO that going to school on Wednesday that they saw graffiti painted on walls and lockers which said, "F*ck N****rs," also, "All you n****rs go back to Africa. Now the white people are going to take over." The words, "Trump" and "Trump train," were interspersed amongst the hate words.
“I went in and looked on the bathroom door and honestly was in shock. That’s the first time I honestly felt like crying at school,” said junior Moses Karngbaye.
In York, Pennsylvania, white supremacists shouting "White Power," and carrying Trump signs marched through the halls of York County School of Technology. Students there reported being spit on, being called "slaves" and having their tires slashed. One female student says that her breasts were grabbed by another student who said that it was "his right."
Chants of "Build the Wall," were heard at the Royal Oak Middle School in Detroit, Michigan, also yesterday, according to The Detroit News.
“Latino children were crying.” said Dee Perez-Scott, who posted a video of the event to Facebook, (which has since gone viral.) She said, “the taunts, the ‘build the wall’ with such bullying power and hate from children to children. Just horrifying!”
Take these incidents and set them against a backdrop of people marching in the streets in protest of Trump's election. This isn’t a victory for any race or demographic, this is a victory for evil. Period.
